- This course is designed to help you develop your number skills at levels 1 & 2 to equip you with the skills required at work, college and in everday life. You will work towards achieving the standards in the National Tests for Numeracy at
Level 1 and 2. This is an introductory workshop about e-learning, designed aimed for tutors. We will explore different examples of e-learning and the benefits for learners. The workshop will also introduce tutors to Glo-BAL, the virtual learning environment of Bournemouth Adult Learning. Tutors will have the opportunity to create e-learning resources using Glo-BAL. Finally, we will review applications of Glo-BAL in the context of your subject.

You will look at the Characteristics and purpose of handouts with Skills for Life in mind. There will be an opportunity to produce a handout relevant to your curriculum area.
